We will be presenting a very interesting and informative session on spray foam insulation at the May 24 NKBIA meeting at 2:00 pm at the Erlanger City Building. This is a topic that should be of interest to our builders as well as building officials.
Our presenter is Chuck Skopelja, Territory Manager of Demilec USA, one of several manufacturers of spray foam insulation. He will provide an approximately 1 ½ – 2 hour overview of the following:
Difference between open and closed cell foam and their appropriate applications
Methods to accomplish the higher R-values of the new codes
Air barrier requirements of the ICC Energy Codes
